Men's Retreat

Friday, 10/11 at 6:30 PM-9:00 PM; Saturday, 10/12 Continental Breakfast 7:30 AM, Retreat 8:30 AM-4:00 PM | Welcome to the Men’s Retreat Registration Page

We are excited that you want to join us for a fun-filled and “wildly influential” experience that will explore the core values and key tasks that support being a disciple of Jesus Christ. The Retreat is being hosted by the Sycamore Presbyterian StoneMasons Ministry for Men. It will take place at the Sycamore Presbyterian Church campus - 11800 Mason Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45249. The name of the Retreat is From Success to Significance - Pursuing God’s Call for Your Life.

The Retreat will start with a General Session on Friday evening, October 11 beginning at 6:30. We are anticipating we will be completed by 9:00 PM. The event continues on Saturday morning, October 12 beginning at 8:30. A continental breakfast will be provided at the SPC Fellowship Hall beginning at 7:30. We are estimating the Retreat will conclude by 4:00 PM. A delicious lunch will be provided as well beverages and snacks throughout the event.

During the Retreat we will be representing a small group model so men will have the opportunity at selected times during the event to establish and strengthen relationships and trust with one another. The small group assignments will be prepared before the Retreat begins. Each small group will have an estimated eight men and will have a trained Small Group Leader to lead the discussion. On the registration form you will find a free form entry section that will allow you to define interest in joining a friend who you would like to have join you in a specific small group.

Our keynote speaker will be Steve Newman. Steve has been a Chaplain for Cru (Campus Crusades for Christ) for more than 40 years. His responsibilities in support of the Athletes in Action division of Cru include 16 years as Chaplain for Miami University/Oxford and 23 years as Chaplain for the Green Bay Packers. Steve is a very passionate and inspiring Kingdom Disciple. His messages will provide insight regarding the importance of progressively learning to live all life under the lordship of Jesus Christ.

A free-will offering will be represented with a suggested amount of $20 for adult men and $5 for students. Dress code is casual with a recommendation to bring a sweater or jacket.
